Today was the first day the Sea|mester crew awoke on the open waters. After breakfast the crew was blessed to swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean.Thankfully everyone pasted the swimming test of swimming 200 meters and treading water for ten minutes.Following lunch, open water divers had to complete the “world’s more expensive puzzle”, assembling and disassembling scuba diving gear.Open water divers had the first experience of diving down with scuba tanks and weights around the waist. After spending half of the day under water, open water divers returned to the vessel Argo to experience our first seawater shower. At the end of the day, the whole crew gathered to enjoy cheesy chicken bake with rice. We’re looking forward to getting back in the water to finish our shallow water training tomorrow!
