Location: Sardinia

Today, I was skipper, and it was a very special day. I am in charge of waking the crewmates up. Some know me as Joey for the people, but today I was not for the people; I forgot to wake up 5 minutes early, and I was awakened by Mac wearing my sunglasses and saying, Whats going on, Joey?. But when I was awakened and went out to get my morning water, I was hit with a beautiful smell of fresh crepes. They were cooked by Captain Bisley 3 cheers for Captain Bisley and Emma, who is a wizard in the galley. shoutout wizard back at home, you are missed. After we had amazing crepes, it was time for studying, but I left with Andy, Nora, and Dan to explore Sardinia to find a sailing school. Isnt that funny we left seamester to find another sailing school, but this time it was for hobbie cats, which are little sailboats. Once we found them, we made it back to Vela, and we had to take our last quiz for the Oceanography unit. After we did our quiz, we found out that we got the highest average that we had all trip! Then it was time for another amazing meal by Emma and Lucie. After that, we all made it to the beach. I was the first out on the slow Hobie cat. I was with Zoe, who was a great first mate. We had a great time until we saw a storm closing in, so we came back and handed it off to Andy and Nora and they went out despite the odds put against them, they looked like they were having an amazing time until the rain hit and then it was time for Shelby to rescue them. She thought she was in the United States Coast Guard, but she was only in our rescue dinghy, Tia, who had a weird leak. She saved them from the storm! After the storm cleared, we had another shot at sailing, and I took Johnathan. Will took Nate, and I was going to teach them how to fully sail in the light winds. Jonathan and I were swimming around the boat, waiting for the wind to pick up, while Will and Nate were lying out enjoying the sun. We swam over to them, but the sailboats started moving, which meant we had wind. I told Nate and Will to turn to port, which means left to the non-mariners, but they never listened, and Johnathan and I were off in a dash, trying to find every gust of wind that could. Nate and Will only found two gusts that blew them, but they were so proud of their two gusts. They did so great! Everyone was cheering them on and when they came off, their smiles were so wide it was priceless. Today was a great day to have a day that was our saying from crossing the Atlantic
