Today everybody went on two really cool dives. Unfortunately, I could not join because my arm is in a sling and I can’t get it wet. I heard rumors that two turtles were spotted, one attacked Casey but he wrestled it and scared it away. They also saw some other cool fish including a spotted drum, squirrel fish, electric ray, sea cucumber and fairy basslets. It was at a dive site called Champagne because there were underwater bubbling hot springs. Upon returning to Ocean Star, everybody set off to shore for our first shore time in Dominica. This weekend the island is celebrating the Creole festival, which is the anniversary of their independence from Britain. At around 5:30 we all headed to a restaurant for dinner and a night out.
