Location: Galleon Beach, Antigua

Day 4 has been a pretty wild ride! For many crew members, the morning started at 5:25 to enjoy tea or coffee at sunrise. While some enjoyed a leisurely swim to the beach, others swam around the boat while taking in the most beautiful rainbow. When seven rolled around, the crew was awake and ready to start the day. After a quick munch on some yogurt, granola, and fruit, we gathered in the saloon for our intro to Marine Biology. After this amazing intro with Steph, we met up on deck for some… you guessed it… DECK RODEO! Learning all the knots and sails has us feeling ready for the first passage ahead. After the rodeo, those getting SCUBA certified got the gear ready for their first jump in the water. After enjoying some delicious baked potatoes for lunch, the divers headed to shore for their first dives! Those already SCUBA certified bent on the flying jib and put our new knot skills to use. The dives, consisting of some dive mishaps, leg cramps, lost watches, and misplaced snorkels, were considered a success. After some serious time spent in the water and under the sun, the crew was reunited for a nice meal of spaghetti and salad. We then met once again in the saloon for an intro to Leadership with Nick. Day 4 was another incredible day; we could not wait to get the sails up and begin our journey to new islands.

I miss you, mom, dad, Jack, Maddie, Jillian, Coco, Aussie, and ALL my family back in Miami! See you on the flip.
