Location: Martinique

Time to dive!
Today I woke up after a great sleep in a hammock on deck with Bennett and Ben before heading below deck to wake up the rest of the crew. Today’s wakeup song was Love Somebody by Morgan Wallen. Once everyone was awake and ready to start their day, we mustered up on deck to enjoy a great breakfast provided by Head chef Kiki. After breakfast, we cleaned up and went back to the deck below for our last Marine Biology class with Ben. Then some people stayed on the boat while others went diving near the boat. Talia, Sylver, Darien, Isaac, Zac, and I joined Ben once again for a fun dive where we saw French angelfish, spotted moray eels, lobster, lion fish, and more while diving. After the dive, we met the rest of the crew back on the boat to lift the anchor and set sail for our next location on the island of Martinique. Once sails were up we met back in the cockpit for lunch prepared by kiki and her sous chef Cecily. Lunch today was goulash. Following lunch, we had our leadership class, then Zac, Maddie, and I worked on our research paper while our peers did the same thing in their groups. Once we arrived at our new location, we dropped sails and dropped anchors, then had some free time to work on homework, catch up on sleep, or play some games. I played Azul with Ben, Nicole, and Shane. After our free time, we took our ocean showers, and the rescue divers had to run through a scenario. Zac, Darien, and Maddie jumped in to save Calum and Kacki while Kara stayed on deck to give instructions to the rest of us on how we could provide assistance to them. Once they completed their scenario, we had dinner which was lasagna. The squeeze question tonight was “if yoy could switch lives with anyone on the boat for a week, who would it be?” My answer was Shane because it would be fun to have his knowledge on boats and sailing. Welp, that wraps up this action-packed day and my last day of being skipper while aboard Argo.
Peace Out!
