Location: English Harbour, Antigua

This morning, we woke up early for a dock walk at both English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour. We got to see tons of different boats, including a recreated 12-meter boat named Ranger and a racing boat named ICAP Leopard. We’re both beautiful and very technologically advanced boats. When we got back to the boat, we had to move to down the dock so that a mega yacht could come in and use the crane for some maintenance. About half of the crew went for an optional dive before lunch to collect data for our projects. Steve, Al, and Reese got some very good data for their project, while Will and I completely struck out with no feather duster worms to be found. This afternoon, we had our last day of shore time in Antigua before our departure tomorrow. The deck was packed with people on their computers sending last-minute emails while we still had internet. I’m sure that it will be packed again tonight.
