Location: Palau
Hi everyone! Hope all is well and things are awesome. Today was Argos final day in Palau before we set sail for Indonesia.
The day started with a much-needed late start of 7:30, followed by a breakfast of overnight oats with an assortment of fruit. After breakfast, we had leadership class where we learned about various leadership styles and took a quiz to determine what type of leader we are. We then broke into groups with other students who have the same leadership style and discussed various questions about how we lead and live our lives. Then, in honor of us leaving for passage, we had boat appreciation (BA) where we deep cleaned Argo and had a much-needed change of our sheets. We took a break from cleaning to eat a delicious lunch of chicken salad wraps prepared by Emma, and before we knew it, BA was done, and it was time to go to shore. People spent their shore time in a variety of ways, with the majority of people dropping laundry off at a laundromat, stocking up on snacks, and finding wifi to talk to friends and family for one of the last times before leaving for passage. While we were on shore, Everett and Sadie stayed on the boat to get some needed rest. We all met for dinner on shore and had good food and good conversations before leaving land for the final time (for a little bit at least). Once back on Argo, people hung out on deck and those who had service made some last calls to their families and friends. Today was an awesome final day in Palau. It has been amazing here, but I think we are all excited for passage and all the new adventures we will have in new places!
