Location: Port Luis, Mauritius
After 14 days at sea, we’ve made it most of the way across the Indian Ocean. We have been so used to our routine at sea that the passage from Cocos Keeling absolutely flew by. We arrived in Port Louis, Mauritius, very early this morning and dropped a hook to hold us for the remainder of the night. After a quick rest and breakfast, we were cleared to make our approach into port and make our way to the customs dock to clear in. During the immigration and customs process, we began to clean Argo from top to bottom, stem to stern, to make her look as pretty as she has ever been. Once we were cleared into the country, we pushed off the customs dock, motored across the harbor to Cuandan Marina, and moored along the sea wall. We finished with our boat appreciation just in time for everyone to take the Emergency First Responder certification exam. After a long day of settling into a new port, everyone is excited to get back on to land and have dinner ashore!! Shout out to Bill!!
