Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda, BVI
We awoke this morning and completed our confined water training. After a quick lunch, we began getting the boat ready for our first sail. Following a long preparation, we raised the sails and set out for Mountain Point. Along the way, we practiced taking and jibing to get familiar with the basics before we began our first passage tomorrow. We were also taught how to recover a ‘man overboard.’ Upon arrival at Mountain Point, we took a swim while the chef and sous chef prepped for dinner- stir fry! Tonight we will be lectured on preparation for tomorrow’s passage to Nevis. Till next time!
