Location: British Virgin Islands to Nevis
After breakfast, we got right to work with preparing the boat for our first passage. This took about two hours, and afterwards we were awarded with some shore time! We explored Spanish Town, had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and picked up some last minute items before our trip. After that, it was back to Ocean Star for our final preparations before starting the trek from Virgin Gorda to Nevis. We were all a little nervous about the responsibilities that came with the passage, but soon got the hang of the three-hour long watches and thorough boat checks. The wind wasn’t in our favor, but we made great time and were lucky to have a calm first passage. Looking forward to exploring Nevis and having a good nights sleep!
