Morning wakeup at 7:00 AM woke up with a pot and a large wooden spoon. Breakfast thirty minutes later, fried eggs, roasted potatoes, a mixed bowl of fruit. After that, clean up and scuba diving videos for open water divers while certified divers went out for a dive before lunch. For lunch, we had pita bread, mixed vegetables, and hummus. After lunch, card games, chess, and hanging out with new friends while the second scuba group went for a dive. Time before third scuba group filled with learning how to put out the tarp, lowering Megatron (a dinghy), and cleaning up/chatting. The third dive group goes, one of them dropped fins on entry, and Sydney had to go get them from the bottom. After that, the students hung out on the deck and prepared food for dinner. The last group of the day went out for their first dives ever! They saw brain coral, giant clams, and what appeared to be giant green sea slugs. They got to breathe underwater for the first time, and they know how to operate scuba gear now. For dinner, we had tofu/beef soup which is correctly called Ma Po tofu/beef. Then we had our hand-holding time, the squeeze. The question for tonight was, “if you had to watch one thing for thirty days, what would it be?” the best answer was either, Top Gear, Blue Planet, or watch my dog roll around. This is Navarre signing off until I am skipper next time.
