Location: Tarragona, Spain

Today the staff let us sleep in until 9:00, which was much appreciated by everyone. As we ascended from below deck to the city that awaited us, Tom went off to clear us through customs and bring good news. After we ate, we were informed that we would be able to leave the boat and enjoy some free time exploring the city. The only thing holding us back was BA (boat appreciation). This entails a full scrub of the deck and the boat’s interior, but luckily we have garnered a good bit of experience with the procedure by this stage of the trip. The work went by quickly and joyfully, creating some of my favorite memories of the day. As I polished the stainless steel, Elan and Kaleigh kept me company and kept me entertained with inside jokes that will surely be ingrained into my memory forever. After BA, we all flocked to the cabins to get ready for shore, and before I knew it, we had all ventured out into the biggest city we have been to yet, finding our own paths and going our separate ways; we all experienced a different adventure.
