Location: Great Harbour Peter
After breakfast, the open water students made their first real dive, 35 feet down to a coral reef, ascending and descending on a mooring line. Everyone got back together for lunch, then most of the crew followed Dan and Lisette for an optional hike on Peter island. Chantale, Simon and Dan refilled the scuba tanks and then the certified divers went on their own dive with Dan, while the rest of the crew returned to the reef for an afternoon dive. After dinner, which we were forced to eat in the salon because of the rain, we had our first communications class. By the time it was over it was dark, the crew was noticeably tired and people started disappearing to their bunks.
