Location: Grenada
We kicked off our day with two a.m. classes, marine bio and nautical science. We learned about light and noise signals, which Dan and Simon personally demonstrated (sorry to the neighbors). After classes, we made our way to historical St. George, where we shopped for spices and dined in a relaxed waterfront restaurant. Capping off our shore visit with phone calls and internet, we retired to Ocean Star for a fabulous dinner and strawberry shortcake (thanks, Rob!). The day finally ended with an informative oceanography class and eight sleepy crew members.
