Location: Underway to Christmas Island
Hey all! Last day in Bali a nice breakfast made by Griff and Christian, eggs rice with some tomato sauce with a spicy twist was a good way to start the morning. We then did the last bit of boat prep and took off for our next destination, the Christmas Island. We immediately encountered rough waters, which was a blast for a short period of time; part way through, though, water spilled into our cabin (including Jackson, Griff, Christian, and Finn). Finn was the main victim as most of the water hit him and his bed, and shortly after, I heard him yell in his British accent, Theres a foot of water in my cabin, more like an inch, if any. Then, if it couldnt get worse, the fun we all had on the large waves took a turn as soon as everyones great breakfast came flooding out of their mouths. A majority of us got seasick, and we all battled the sickness together for a large portion of the day. The masterfully planned lunch and dinners we had in mind were all too complicated for us to make in the state we were in, so we resorted to pasta and canned Alfredo sauce with some chicken, which was great and impressively made while being seasick by Griffin, Daniel, David. It was a long, rough day for most of us, but therell be a lot more days like today later! If you wanna take that as a good or bad thing, its a great way to bond with everyone. Also wanted to say hi to my Mom, Dad, Nana, as well as Baz and Ty if youve made time out of your long, hard, studious life (video games and partying) and to also say I appreciate you all a lot! Also, thanks for the tips, Hans and Kayla. Theyve been crazy useful.
