Location: Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua
Hello everyone, I apparently am skipper again today on our last day! To keep this short and sweet so I can go hang out and say my final goodbyes, we had a very eventful last sign-out night. We all got dressed up and went out to a nice place to eat and have some drinks. I had some Antiguan jerk chicken! After dinner, we all walked around some. A few of us found a futbol game and joined in with some local kids. We played for about 45 minutes, I ended the game with a broken pinky toe and a really messed up big toe. Almost made it the full trip without hurting myself. After some futbol, we all met at a dancing bar and had one last group dance party. We got home safely, and a lot of us stayed up well into the night chatting. Now we sit here at breakfast, emotional but grateful for this beautiful opportunity.
For anyone reading this that isn’t sure about this trip, all I can say is do it! I have to go, but I love you all. Thank you for making this program everything we could have dreamed of.
