Location: Underway to Devils Island
As I sit and write about my day on the 6-8, I think about how much sail handling was done today. During my 8-12 this morning, watch team 3 plus Grant raised the main sail, flushed the dinghies, and we hung the rags on the life lines. For lunch, we had Mexican baked potatoes. The food today was great. Erin and Mac were in the galley today, cheffing it up. After lunch, and before class, we all raised the flying jib, the jib, and the fish, resulting in all six sails up!!! Afterward, we had leadership and oceanography, where Camilla, Vittoria, Nashota, and Erin presented their chapter presentation on change and communities. Class brought us up to dinner, where we ate bean burgers. Yummmmyyyyyy. After dinner, I took the helm and steamed us into the night.
