Today began early for the intrepid crew of Ocean Star as we ate some cereal and dinghied ashore for a wet landing at the base of the infamous ladder of Saba. The ladder marked the beginning of a hike of epic proportions to the 3000 foot summit of Mt. Scenery, over 2000 stairs were conquered on the way up. After the hike most shipmates decided to unwind in a town called Windward Side, aptly named because of its location. Some enjoyed lunch ashore while others made glass beads at Jo Beans glass studio. Finally everyone once again descended the ladder to rejoin Ocean Star on her mooring for dinner.
