Location: Les Saintes, Guadeloupe
Hey Yo!! Salutations to one and all, I’m sorry for writing this blog a little late. Yesterday was quite a busy and fun day filled with lots of fun. We started the day with waking people up for breakfast which was pancakes, once we cleaned up we headed for the shore to spend time to relax and see what was around the town. Me and fish walked and tried different food which were enjoyable to eat, it was very nice to eat real food after so long, everyone else was either shopping, resting, or eating food like we were. When it was 2:00, we all gathered together to go on a hike together to the highest peak of the island. During that time, I decided to jog and run it Let me tell you, it was not as fun as I hoped it to be, but the beauty of the top was definitely worth it. We rested for a bit at the top but also explored this old guard tower, which was fun to see, since even though there were no stairs to the next floor, we would climb up it instead, which was also fun. When we were ready to leave, we decided to go down a different path than the usual route. The way down was confusing since it looked more like a goat path than a hiking path. The way down was much steeper, but also more like an actual hiking trail, since on the way up, we went up a curving road. Eventually we made it down to the road and spent time on a small beach where we played in the water, and looked for crabs and other creatures in the water. To end it all off, we finished the way with going to a resturant where we had dinner and enjoyed the night with drinks and nice hot meals, once the night was done we made it back to argo where we were all tired and went to bed.
