Location: Underway to Vanuatu
Today we are motor sailing, or in other words we have the engine on but we are still using some sails. Mostly the forward and main stay sails. There hasn’t been enough wind to turn off the main engine. After a delicious lunch, we had marine biology, then navigation. We learned about true course, magnetic course, deviation, variation, and how you always add west. After a dinner of mac and cheese, our scheduling committee decided what we are going to do in Vanuatu. And then we sailed off into a beautiful sunset. Sort of, the sunset was a little to starboard.
