Hey everyone, today was our last day in Nevis. It was a super fun day. We had a yummy breakfast of eggs and toast to get the day started off right. We had our second marine biology class of the semester, and it was nice. Next was one of the best parts of the day: passage preparation. Coiling lines, taking sail covers off, you name it, we probably did it. Lunch was couscous and some various veggies and chickpeas. After lunch, there was a leadership class before some diving. Many people got their open water diver certifications today. Diving is so amazing. I saw some super cool fish like yellow-tailed snappers, conch, a large orange starfish, and some stinging worms(I’m not sure of the name). I loved being underwater. It feels exhilarating and so different from anything I have ever experienced. The water is so clear that you can see quite a ways away. I also got some candid photos of working on the boat today. Today was also provisioning day, so Heather got us some food for our passage to Grenada, which will take around three days. The weather was beautiful and sunny, and it was so hard to keep from jumping in the ocean at all times. Anywho, thanks for reading about our day. Wishing all the best at home for all the families and friends reading this. Signing off…
