It has been a great day in Bequia with everyone exploring the area and watching local craftsmen at work building models of traditional Bequian whaling boats. The shipmates all took an assessment to discover their leadership styles; are we lions or beavers when we are in charge of a group? In the afternoon the Elkhorn monitoring program continued with Sami and Mike assisting Chantale assess the health of one of the long term monitoring plots. The day ended with a night out to some of the local bars, to enjoy a cold beer and some fantastic ice-cream!
