The last day that Ocean Star would remain in Bequia started off with 2 delicious batches of pancakes made by Joe and Mick. The crew ate in the salon due to rain. After breakfast, the shipmates had a brief oceanography quiz followed by a nautical science class. The rest of the afternoon was off and several of the shipmates took the time to go ashore on Bequia for the last time. After another meal down below in the salon, again due to rain, a few of us presented our recently completed literature reviews to the rest of the group. Bequia has treated us all very well and it has been one of the most enjoyable islands to date. Although we are extremely sad to leave it behind, we are also excited to continue on to St Lucia.
