Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
With the crew assembled we cast off dock lines just before noon. Ocean Star motored to windward up the Drake Channel with her new shipmates taking turns at the helm. Lunch was served underway. At 15:30 we dropped anchor in the beautiful Savannah Bay and enjoyed a saltwater shower and swim. We dined on Tortellini and salad. After dinner the crew was introduced to the intricacies of the vessel and continued their scubadiving homework.
