Location: Mallorca
Today started off as a calm day. We awoke at our normal time of 07:00. Many didnt want to awaken. Once on deck, egg sandwiches made of bagels were served for breakfast. While Max, Ben, Cat, Grace C, and James went diving after breakfast, the rest of us got free time. During this free time, you had a mix of activities going on. Tossing around a rugby ball, sleeping, taking ocean showers, studying, and doing tomfoolery were included in these activities. Though many of us partook in most of the activities listed, there were also more individual pastimes happening.
Then lunch rolled around just past noon, we had loaded quesadillas with chicken and corn. A couple bags blew off the stern and I chased them. I dove off the boat and came up to see where the trash had gone. But I got the trash. Then we had the destination presentation after cleanup was finished followed by Marine biology and Marine Bio straight into Oceanography. Afterward, we were allotted more free time.
During this free time, Max and I went up onto the bow with our black robes on, and blasted ACDC, Guns n Roses, Ozzy Osborne. The wind had picked up from the morning and was now blowing at around 30 knots. So we were jamming to our music with our cloaks billowing in the wing.
Finally, Dinner time rolled around and we ate the rainbow, an assortment of different colored fruits and vegetables that fit the colors of the rainbow. After clean up, we watched the sun go down and saw it light up the sky in a beautiful array of colors that lit up the clouds.
