Location: Underway to Fiji
Hi families!! Here is a recap of another day conquering the Pacific ocean. Watch team 3 (the superior watch team) had the 4-8 am watch with Felipe as watch team leader. We had a lot of laughs and a great study session towards the end of our time. After watch, a bunch of us “studied” together in the salon. Honestly, we spent the majority of time looking at photos from home and showing each other, which made me really happy( (I found photos of my parents on their honeymoon, and my heart feels full now). Watch team 1 absolutely crushed it reefing the mainsail (shoutout to Renee, Bella, Lewis, Mac, Nat, Marina, Lolo, and Trevor). After some wonderful quesadillas made by the magnificent Gillian, we had a seamanship class and a marine biology review (Thanks, Amanda)! Deck showers started soon after, and then we enjoyed some free time (except for Watch team 3 since we are the best). Gill showed herself up with dinner, and we all devoured chicken teriyaki and noodles. Post squeeze, we went straight into cleanup and resumed watch! Another WONDERFUL day on the ocean — I am absolutely loving passage!
