We started our day with some delicious pancakes for breakfast. After this, we began preparing Vela for the next passage, Menorca! Even though we are sad to leave Tarragona behind, we all look forward to seeing more of Spain. We all worked together to make sure all the lines were ready. The booms were topped, the dinghies all strapped in, etc. There was so much to get done! After checking everything that had to be done off the list, we had a nice scheduling meeting to plan out our next week on Vela. It was very exciting to see all the cool things we’ll do in Menorca and the other places we’re visiting. We might even get the chance to scuba dive! Yay! After the meeting, we had some Nav Masterclasses. We had delicious lunch made by Josh, Ines, Savanna, and Spencer. We organized the provisions for the next couple of weeks. We had a lot of Ramen because we eat ramen like there is no tomorrow. Dylan told us that they even got the ramen that was stored away at the store. I think he said we got around 200 packs of ramen. Yummy. Also, the granola we bought looks very good, so that’s exciting. Dinner was delicious, Spaghetti and meatbaaallz. After dinner, we celebrated Freddie’s birthday with a big plate of fruit and some yummy pastries! We did squeeze, as usual, and I asked the group to share their lucky numbers. So far, it has been a successful passage! It has only been four hours. We’ll see how it goes! XOXO Skipper.
