Location: Tobago Cays
We awoke to a magnificent sunrise and a crisp breeze, perfect conditions for another day in the Tobago Cays. After breakast the crew broke out the notebooks for an early Oceanography class, and then headed off for one of several morning adventures. Some explored the beach on a deserted island called Petit Bateau, while others rigged up the windsurfers and went for a sail, still others worked on their Oceanography projects by collecting data on the reef or studying and writing on board Ocean Star. After lunch the group divided again and similar action ensued, a busy afternoon leaving everyone eager with anticipation for the blazin’ burgers that would be our dinner. The night was concluded with a stimulating Nautical Science class, a superb way to end another incredible day aboard Ocean Star.
