Location: Tobago Cays
Today was a good day; the weather has been dramatically improving since our first days in the Cays. The sun is out although it is still cloudy at times. The wind is blowing hard causing the water to be choppy. There are high spirits although everyone is working hard to study for a sailing exam and to finish their literature reviews. Today was our first dive as certified divers; we did a series of navigational skills using compasses and natural navigation. We had Mexican Night’, as Boomer described it, for dinner and no class during the evening. Most people stayed up late studying and writing their oceanography paper.
