Location: English Harbour, Antigua
Today everyone had a full day to explore English Harbour and the surrounding area. Following a morning oceanography class, everyone took advantage of the easy access to the dock and headed off to the nearby bakery or cafe for yummy treats and delicious coffee. The group all had different stories about how they spent their day- some checked out the museum or a local art gallery while others wandered around nearby Falmouth Harbour checking out stores and the beautiful boats. Stu organized the creation of Ocean Star t-shirts which we are all looking forward to seeing! Over Simon’s fiesta dinner, everyone shared stories of their adventures and agreed that they were really enjoying Antigua’s history and beauty. After dinner we had an MTE class in a new location, a quiet area on the dockyard. The students commented that class in the dockyard was a fun change of pace.
