In lieu of our regularly scheduled blog, we interrupt to give you one sentence from everyone on board (if it makes no sense, I apologize…you may blame me, Smash).
I did get to hold a sea cucumber today. Today we had our most fun dive yet!
Yes, a very satisfying little row of ducks indeed. Sorry Lomax
Ducks smucks – seagrass is more satisfying. Sorry Calum
I would have to argue that seagrass is hardly satisfying considering how many incredible fish were swimming through it. Sorry, Dylan.
Sea cucumbers melt themselves when stressed; I’m so thankful the one I held didn’t do that.
Seagrass pales in comparison to the many virtues of the parrotfish; however, seagrass greatly surpasses the folly involved with capsizing a crew mate’s kayak while luring them in under false pretenses of sighting a foraging sea turtle.
R.I.P to one of the frat, and Annika’s MASK.
Sorry, Cora…
I spent the entire day in the water and saw a very pretty rainbow, so overall top tier day. Sorry Sharp also super kiss
I saw so many cool animals today, including two different eels, and all the coral was beautiful!
Sorry, staff… enjoy the water in the regulator octopus:)
So many fishies capsized kayaks and even more lentils…
Spoon Yes Dice Never Eyes If (hi mom and dad and Walter and Monroe)
sorry, my arms are hurting too much to write this blog. Not easy diving and kayaking against the current (cansadona mas feliz, beijos povo amo vcs :P)
Stolen sea glass is a no-no, the current is NOT our friend, and Calum looks like the kayaking guy… you’re welcome, Calum. (g<3)
Finding kindred spirits and nosy barracudas. We always do an immediate threat check before entering the water, which Rumplestiltskin may or may not be…xoxo
You can not steer a kayak when it is backward.
With kindred spirits and threat checks, there is still never enough sunscreen to protect our skin from the radiating Caribbean sun (Matt, Laura, Zeita, Layng, Matthew, and Tyler, I miss you guys so so much. On my heart and mind:) )
Without suffering, there is no joy, Hemingway is my friend, and this reality is alright, alright, alright.
Great work today, big dawgs, and there is always tomorrow.
Sea snorkelers swim sideways sometimes; stay strong.
