Today was a very eventful day. Wakeup was at 6:30, but everyone was already up and ready to attack the day! We started out by having breakfast at 7 am, which was a wonderful egg and veggie scramble with toast, which was so good. Then we all got our bags packed for the day and started dingy runs to shore. After we got to the dock and some of us collected some sea glass, we all got into the taxi and headed to Chances Youth Center. Over the course of a few hours, we cleaned up the hill leading up to the center, painted tires, and, most importantly, had a blast and made new friends. After we finished painting all the tires, there was a mini paint war. (A lot of our clothes have paint on them now.) Once we left, all of the crew stopped at a supermarket and stocked up on snacks and drinks and walked back to the dock. Then we had dingy runs back to Ocean Star and had shower/study time. Now we’re just finishing up dinner, and we caught a box jellyfish! Since we have Marine Biology after dinner, we’re going to examine it a little bit and learn more about it.
Ketch ya later, maybe schooner,
