Location: Underway to Lisbon
To start the day I (Max) got woken up for morning watch (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) once I got up and ready Me and Nate had a Nutella tortilla for breakfast and then went up with the rest of our watch to meet with our watch team leaders so we can relieve watch team 1, during watch people were taking their knots and deck walk tests because its the last day to do them and then Me, Hannah, Jerry, Noah, Ophelia, and Ellie all talked about names they would name their kids. At 9:30, Noah went to wake up Forbes, Ellory, and Christian so they could start making lunch. Forbes was head chef, and Ellory and Christian were the sous chefs. They were making hamburgers with fries. Shortly after, I went down to the galley because I had an idea to make fri sauce. I grabbed ketchup, mayo, mustard, and sriracha sauce, then Forbes grabbed a bowl and made the sauce while we were making the sauce, Nate. Ellie came down for wake-ups at 11:30. Once everybody woke up, I gathered the people downstairs for lunch. Then, towards the end of lunch, we saw 3 whales jumping out of the water. After eating, we all got a briefing from Mac on Orca watch because the Orcas around Portugal tend to mess with boats sometimes. After lunch we had clean up then after clean up we had leadership class where Bryce and Declan presented about understanding and renewing complex organizations then Lorelai and Oona presented about understanding change, during lorelai and Oonas presentation we played spoons. Then after class everybody just chilled for a few hours and then it was time for dinner, for dinner we were gonna lasagna but that didnt work out so the chefs made spaghetti with bolognese sauce. I rounded everyone up again and by the time everyone was about done eating we got a fish on the handline Nate was pulling the line up and once we where able to see the fish it looked really big and we were expecting a tuna but to our surprise it was a Marlin the marlin was around 5 ft, Mac was gonna pull it on deck but just as it was about there it got off the line, it was very sad me and Nate really wanted to get a picture with it but besides us losing it, it was probably one of the coolest fish Ive seen. After all that, we had a Squeeze. My question was, If you could have any animal or anything as a pet, what would it be? My answer was a finger monkey. After the Squeeze, everyone cleaned up, then chilled around, and went to bed. Thats pretty much it for today.
