Location: Spanish Town, British Virgin Islands
After breakfast we hauled back the anchor and got underway for Great Dog Island, the site of a submerged airplane and an excellent wreck dive. After exploring the plane wreck, we motored over to close by Spanish Town and dove another terrific site called “The Aquarium”, this was an exciting dive, not only because it was teeming with marine life but because it marked the final certifying open water dive for most of our crew. Post-dive, we celebrated with a delicious chicken curry and some chocolate cake and then went through passage preparation and procedures for tomorrow’s journey. We capped off the evening by watching “Around Cape Horn” by Irving Johnson, possibly the best sailing film ever, and then set off for bed, tired from a long day’s adventure.
