Location: Charlestown, Nevis
This morning began with a breakfast of bagels, PB and J, and soft-boiled eggs cooked by Mackenzie and Drew. Afterward, we had a Boat Appreciation (BA), where we split up and gave love back to Ocean Star. Jeff, Tina and I were in the lazerette, which was probably 300oF! Tying up lines and reorganizing scuba gear. After BA, we took dinghies to shore and met Barry, our Nevis friend, and taxi van driver. He drove us up to the Golden Rock Plantation, where we started our hike to the source of all of Nevis’s water. After the hike, we all jumped into a freshwater swimming pool, filled from the source, to cool off. Then we came back to Ocean Star for some delicious Mexican food, and tonight we are having a night out at Chevy’s. Tomorrow should be another exciting day in Nevis.
