Location: Admiralty Bay, Bequia
Today was a good day. We had MTE class in the morning and then shore time to make phone calls, use the internet, make some last-minute handicraft purchases, and explore further into Bequia. Many chose to stay aboard for part of the day to join the workshops with Dan, Boomer, and Simon for our Basic Cruising and Bareboat certification. This involved understanding the loss of steering procedures, safety equipment, and the ground tackle and windlass. In the afternoon, we made plans for our passage to St Lucia. We plan to leave at midnight this evening. In the evening, we gave the first of our oceanography literature review presentations. It was a good day for all.
