Location: Underway to Nevis
Today we were on passage all day, traveling from Roadtown, Tortola, all the way to Nevis. We left last night at 9 pm and arrived tonight at 9 pm. The waters were rough, but we all got used to it with time. For passage, we split into three different watch teams of 4 crew plus one staff member. Each team ran boat checks on the hour smoothly, and everyone had a chance to take the helm. It was quite interesting at first getting used to living life on a fast-moving boat that’s heeled way over 15- 30 degrees. Frisby and Jake did a great job cooking underway and made us some really delicious Burritos and Mexican Salads. Another great day aboard Ocean Star, and looking for more to come.
