Hey y’all!
Today was a jam-packed day. Since I got the awesome role of skipper today, I thought I would lighten the mood of wake-ups a little bit by connecting to the speaker and giving everyone a concert to get out of bed. We got ready and went up to the deck to eat breakfast and pack our lunches for the day. We quickly cleaned up and hopped on the dinghy to make our way to the marina. We met up at a cute little cafe that had really good coffee and juice. We then got in a taxi to make our way to the hike spot. On the way there we got to see the most amazing views. We hiked for about 2 hours. We saw so many cool plants and got the most breathtaking view of the ocean and lake that were below us. We hiked so far up that we were in the clouds! About halfway through our hike, we got blessed with some rain to cool us off. Unfortunately for us, though, that was a recipe for many wipeouts. Although everyone was okay, we had constant laughter on our way back down as we each slipped and fell in the mud. We ended our hike by eating lunch by the lake and watching some of the boys have a rock skipping competition, which ended with the whole group after a while. We then packed our stuff up and headed off to a new location. Since we were completely covered in mud from our hike, we got to rinse off in the beautiful Seven Sisters waterfalls. We were all super thankful to give our feet a rest and cool off, all while getting the coolest view ever. We swam for a little bit and got ready to make our way back to the boat. Our boat showers lasted a bit longer than normal, considering how warm the ocean felt since it was so cold in the rain on deck. It’s safe to say that today was everyone’s first time putting on warm clothing. We ended the night by piling all in the saloon for dinner. Today was so much fun, but there is some much-needed rest. Love everyone back home and hope y’all love all these pics as much as I do. 🙂
