A fine day we had. We dove into some intense scientific research after breakfast and met with the Soufriere Marine Management Association (SMMA). After an informative briefing on SMMA and Reef Check procedures we got back to the boats and assembled dive gear. We feasted on some delicious sandwiches for lunch and prepared to dive. The fact that this afternoon was just a trial run was probably for the best, as their was a slight bit of confusion. But it was a fun rainy dive, and after a debriefing and some more studying of the books we are all ready to bring our “A” game tomorrow. It’s slightly demanding, but being on time is more rewarding when you are the skipper. A fun day in the name of science.
