Location: Mountain Point, BVI
Today started with a great breakfast consisting of warm muffins and cereal, then followed by the usual morning brief given by the skipper. After clean up, Stephanie led us in an OCB class where we learned about ecosystems. The day was split up by dive experience with the already certified divers entering the water soon after class. Lunch was a terrific home made squash soup. After lunch, the training open water divers, myself included, headed out on our dive and it was fantastic. It was the first time that we were able to really swim around under water and explore. Everyone seems to love diving and it is amazing just how far we have come in only three dives. We have our final exam tomorrow and lets hope everyone passes… The training divers ascended from their dive around three and the rest of the afternoon was filled with swimming, recording fish seen on the dives and lounging around in yet anther beautiful day down in the BVI’s. Dinner was served at six and it was Mexican fiesta night. As always the food was great and so was the company. Tonight we are learning about what we need to do for our first real passage to Nevis coming up later this week.
