Location: Gorda SOund, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
This morning after breakfast we headed out on Hunters to practice our sailing skills on smaller boats. We spent the morning tacking and jibing in Gorda Sound. We also took our PADI Open Water Exams, putting us much closer to completing the course. After lunch we headed out again on even smaller boats, Hobie Cats and Lasers, to practice single-handed and two person sailing. The afternoon began with the Hobie Cat relay and then we had time to just go out together and refine our skills. We enjoyed our time at the beach relaxing in the clear water, trying out windsurfing and also playing some beach ball games and learning some gymnastics from Priscilla. We came back aboard Ocean Star to shower and then headed back to the Beach for a BBQ with Action Quest, followed by our first night out at Saba Rock. Another busy day for the crew of Ocean Star.
