Location: Underway to Dominica
After an early morning fire drill, we got the boat ready for our second long passage – to Dominica. We’ve been sailing all day and are making great progress. The weather is gorgeous as always, and much to our surprise and relief, the seasickness has been kept to a minimum! (Thanks, Dramamine!). Jon, Simon, and Audrey braved the galley and made some delicious chicken noodle soup for dinner. Pasta underway is always tricky, but they pulled it off, and we all huddled in the cockpit to eat just before sunset. We should be in Dominica early tomorrow morning, and can’t wait to explore the island.
