Today the main goal was surveying Elkhorn corals in Bequia for NOAA. After breakfast, a couple of us went out to our first site to survey and mark the corals of interest. The rest of the crew went ashore to explore Bequia and call home. After lunch, we swapped around and went to our second site. The surge was a bit strong which made taking measurements a bit tricky but all went well and the coral appears to be doing ok. After a fabulous dinner of chicken alfredo prepared by Rachel, everyone had a free night to catch up on work or just relax after a busy day.
