Location: Charlestown, Nevis
Another successful day while traveling aboard El Argo. Today, we went ashore in Nevis, a small but quaint island next to its larger counterpart, Saint Kitts. There were two expeditions on shore. One was a hike to the islands water source at the peak with a rickety old ladder at the top. The other, a grueling but rewarding bike ride circumnavigating the island. Each group went to a small Chinese restaurant for lunch, and got a little taste of the East in the West Indies. Everyone got a little time after to explore the town and stock up on chocolates and other sweets reminiscent of home. Everyone was dinghied back to El Argo, where an expeditious but scrumptious meal was enjoyed.
