Location: Les Saintes
Today we set sail from Antigua to Les Saints, the total trip was 93.9 nautical miles and we reached a top speed of 12.2 knots. Argo left port around 7 am and we had all sails raised within an hour, which I thought was great considering this was our first voyage. Personally I haven’t been around boats that often and had never sailed, at first it was extremely difficult to figure out how to raise a sail and the proper way of tying a knot, but after patient instructors continuously explained the process it began to click. Although at times I was extremely frustrated after glances around I realized that I have never been anywhere this beautiful and haven’t experienced anything like it before. Upon looking around this unknown blue abyss I could feel nothing be peacefulness and hope the feeling never ends.
