Location: Gibraltar
Before I went to sleep last night, my watch team (Watch Team 2) finished our watch listening to Percy Jackson on audible. At midnight, FiFi and I woke everyone from Watch Team 3 up and then danced to Rihanna in the salon with Daisy before going back on deck. I love my watch team! Joe bought us all chocolate, and Del made us cookie dough to share. At 8 a.m., we were welcomed back on watch by a pod of dolphins riding the wake of the bow. It was so exciting and one of the coolest things weve ever seen. Caroline was psyched! We were able to see the pillars of Hercules at the edge of the Strait of Gibraltar, which was amazing because it was a panoramic view of both Morocco and Spain. After lunch, we put the boat to bed by taking down the sails and putting on sail covers. Youll always find me on the Main Staysail. Its my favorite. Before pulling into the Marina in Gibraltar, we had Marine Bio with Anna, then had a little time on shore. I enjoyed being on shore in Gibraltar and am excited to explore more of the city!
