Location: St. Barths

My day began by assisting Dom and Madeline in their baking of chocolate chip pancakes. When we finished cooking, we raised the anchor. While putting the anchor line out into the hook, I felt my shoulder spring out of place and instantly return to its position. I had to take the day off from the lines to assist sail. We sat in the cockpit and ate pancakes before cleaning up in the huge waves. After we finished cleaning, I watched them set up the sails while attempting to fit in wherever I could with one hand. The wind was not blowing in our favor, so it took longer than expected to arrive at St Barts. The waves were tremendous, and we were up and down like a pirate ship, with the bow smashed and water rushing up and over. Gigi and I helped Dom prepare lunch and produced amazing buffalo chicken wraps. I discovered an inchworm in the lettuce (yes, this is a typical occurrence), and we named him Joey, and he lives in a bowl. We ate the chicken wraps in the cockpit, and while cleaning up after lunch, I dropped the soap bottle on the floor. The galley was so slippery while we rocked back and forth. After I napped in the salon alongside other tired individuals, it was time to prepare for anchoring. We lowered the sails and set ourselves right outside a little harbor surrounded by beautiful sailboats, with big yachts visible further out. You may say we appeared out of place. St. Barts is an affluent island, but it is breathtakingly gorgeous, with matching red roofs up the hillside and people dressed up on the streets merely to take a stroll. After putting the boat to bed, Madeline and I studied navigation in the chart house. Then we had stir-fry for dinner when it was still light outside! People took showers, relaxed in the salon, and prepared for bed.
