Howdy, y’all. This morning began with the smell of sizzlin’ bacon which became a delicious breakfast of eggs benedict cooked by Chris. After breakfast, we all took our International Competent Crew exam and had marine biology class. After a lunch of spam musubi, we split into our watch groups and went over emergency protocols, and prepared for passage. We had some pretty fun stations where we learned how to handle the sails, set up and use fire hoses, operate the trash pump, and so much more. We also enjoyed a dry dinner for the first time in three days. It was pretty nice to eat a meal that didn’t turn into a soggy soup. After dinner, we ended the night with another honorary dance party before heading our separate ways to finish some homework and go on watch.
