Today was absolutely bangin’. And the 10 o’clock hour. Do not get me started on the 10 o’clock hour. We spotted land for the first time in 13 days and then promptly after saw some sperm whales to our port side! We are taking the scenic route around the island of Flores before we head toward our destination of Faial in 2 day’s time. For lunch, Margaux, Mo, and Ben made some of the most delicious quinoa bowls I’ve ever tasted, and then after our first marine bio exam, Lolo surprised us with some molasses cookies. Just like the day, those were absolutely bangin’ as well. Thanks, Lolo! What a treat. And the gluten-free cookies were even prettier than the regular cookies. This afternoon we also got to see a bunch of dolphins. Some were absolutely tiny, and they were having a ball jumping around in the waves next to Argo. The night ended with some delicious, oh! you guessed it, bangers and mash. the end… My squeeze question was, “What is your biggest fear?” Some were silly, some were serious, but it was a great way to learn a little bit more about each other. Now on to one of the final night watches on this passage.

1. Sophia working on some work
2. Sam and Amanda are excited over the possibility of a second whale spotting
3. Brian and Smash also looking for the possible second whale spotting of the day
