Location: St. Tropez, France

We arrived in the French Riviera early in the morning after a long night spent navigating the bustling Gulf of Lyons. We all mustered on deck after breakfast and realized our new venue. It is strange to think how small Europe is, just hours ago we were unaware that we were in France, except for the radio banter during the passage. Within seconds, the panoramic harbor made everyone realize the grandeur of this microcosm by how much passion and money the French put into their yachts. While walking the narrow streets it seemed as though every turn could have been used as the cover shot for a travel magazine, every boat a yachting advert and every other person a fashion model. As I assumed, trying to buy a stick of deodorant was impossible, and I grabbed one of many conveniently placed white flags instead and embraced my new French culture.
